In this four-week online course, we’ll look at the essentials you need to get
your novel started – and finished!
We’ll explore preliminary steps like planning and developing a strong writing
routine, through how to keep going through the trickier parts of the novel
process and what to do with your project once it’s completed. The course price
also includes a one-to-one session with course leader Alex Davis to discuss
your project in detail.

Week Three: Keeping your novel going
Week Four: The editing phase and what to do next
One-to-one session to be arranged at a time to suit the participant.
Led by Alex Davis, a workshopper and tutor with fifteen years of experience and
a Creative Writing Lecturer at the University of Derby.

We’ll explore the fundamentals of writing short stories, how you can explore
theme in your work, how you can get your short stories published and the
options ahead of you in both small presses and self-publishing.

Week Three: How to get your short stories published
Week Four: Getting your collection out there.

the chance to take a big bite of horror or select some light bites from the workshop
